Doing More — It's Easy:

  • Hydrate your body by drinking 8-10 glasses of water to help flush out the system, and to keep your throat moist. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water to feel healthier is no myth!
  • Stock-up on HALLS® cough drops to get fast, soothing relief from sore throats and coughs. Try HALLS Naturals™ with 100% natural menthol for a natural alternative.
  • Increase vitamin C intake to support your immune system. You can do this with HALLS Defense® and by eating foods loaded with vitamins, such as fruits and vegetables.
  • Wash hands frequently to help reduce the spread of germs.
  • Purchase a warm steam vaporizer or take hot showers to help loosen any mucus build up in your respiratory system.

Doing Less — No Problem:

  • Rest! Get as much rest as possible, and try to sleep at least 8 to 9 hours per night to rejuvenate your body.
  • Conserve energy by avoiding unnecessary activity and attempting to lighten your daily schedule when you have a cold.
  • Believe it or not, reading an inspirational book, while you are sick in bed, can help boost your endorphin level, and also take your mind off your illness, allowing you relief and an escape from your cold.
  • Relax! Make a point to utilize relaxation techniques that are at your disposal, such as getting a massage, yoga, and meditation.
